Isn’t a lot of this chaotic turnover symptomatic of Bayern needing to have short term wins constantly? Seems difficult for the club to change its perspective on that—didn’t seem to have the stomach for Nagelsmann’s project then and not sure their appetite has changed really.

There's a great scene in Godfather 3 where Al Pacino says "Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in". It reminds me of Manu and Stefan trying to go a week without covering Bayern, but then something dramatic happens! Great reaction show!

It's a feeling of relief but at the same time, it feels quite bizarre that Tuchel is still manager. I am not against Julian Nagelsmann coming back but I was so over the constant tinkering he did. He got things right and just for the sake of experimenting, got them wrong again. If Nags comes back., I think Stanisic will too. And Pavlovic can develop too. A lot is up in the air right now.

As always guys, thank you for putting this together! It was a good listen as always!!

Stefan, I echo your thoughts. Regardless of how Germany performs, Bayern should look at getting Nagelsmann back. Xabi would be their top priority but I am unsure if Bayern will be able to get him. Seb Hoeness probably needs a few more years at Stuttgart or replicating his success at another club before Bayern. Nagelsmann on the other hand has the experience of already coaching at Bayern and hopefully joins back after learning from his failures from his previous stint.

Bayern really need a coach they can work with for multiple years. The rebuild might take a couple of years and sadly that might mean no Bayern at the CL final next year in the Allianz Arena.
