Bayern Munich won the Bundesliga title today, following a 2-1 win over Köln and Borussia Dortmund’s failure to beat Mainz. However, rather than celebrating the success, the Munich giants sacked CEO Oliver Kahn and sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic. In their reaction to the title decider, Manu and Stefan break down Bayern’s current predicament and why they almost certainly had to make such a drastic change before the summer transfer window.
Will be curious to see what your guys thoughts are on who’s staying and going at Bayern. Will they pursue cancelo or roll with Davies and Mazraoui? How much does Brazzo firing hurt Davies, Musiala and Kimmich extensions?
BILD reported that Kahn didn’t take the news of his sacking well and basically never showed up to the meeting. So he was sacked immediately. Brazzo did show up and so it was far more civil and hence why he got to show face on Saturday.
Just listened to the press conference where Hainer explained that the termination meeting with Brazzo went well and so he was invited to the match and to the celebration on the balcony today. The meeting with Kahn did not go well, and so they called another special meeting of the board where they had to ban him from attending. I guess Vul-Kahn erupted at that meeting.

Any insights on why Kahn was “forbidden” to attend the game? That sounds a bit drastic though I’d assume there is more to it
