But the wait wasn’t long, thanks to a 2-2 draw between SC Freiburg and Bayern Leverkusen, the title is back to where Bayern fans believe it belongs, at the Säbener Straße. It is Bayern’s 34th German championship overall and the 33rd Bundesliga title.

Bayern head coach Vincent Kompany has done an excellent job keeping the noise away from his team this season. That doesn’t mean it isn’t there.
