Min-jae Kim may be the defender that finally fixes Bayern Munich's broken back line
The Bavarian giants have struggled to find reliable central defenders over the past five seasons but the South Korea international offers hope for Thomas Tuchel's squad.
The summer transfer window is technically only 11 days old but Bayern Munich have already had a number of issues to contend with. Whether it’s missing out on Kai Havertz, being priced out of a move for Declan Rice or struggling to come to terms with Daniel Levy’s valuation for Harry Kane, the Bavarian giants seem to be spending much of the summer chasing their own tail.
Alas, some good news for the Munich club may finally be on its way. Napoli defender Min-jae Kim looks set to complete his move to the club this week after his €50 million release clause was met in full by Bayern. Following a successful medical test, the South Korea international will most likely be training with his new team before the end of the week. And in many ways, Kim could prove to be a pivotal signing for Thomas Tuchel and his squad.
