RB Leipzig have finally secured their first win of this season’s Champions League campaign by beating Celtic 3-1 in front of 45,228 spectators at the Red Bull Arena. Goals by Christopher Nkunku (27’) and André Silva (64’ & 77’) were too much for Celtic, whose only scorer was Jota (47’). The result provides Leipzig with a life line in this season’s European campaign and gives plenty of room to ponder; here are my key takeaways from the game.
