"Europapokal! Europapokal!" chanted the Borussia Dortmund supporters in the away end at the BayArena after their team kept their hopes of qualification for a "European Cup" alive with a 4-2 win over Bayer Leverkusen.

Precisely which European competition it will be for Niko Kovac's side, however, will be decided on the final day.

A place in the Europa League is as good as secure (barring an unlikely five-goal swing in favour of Mainz 05) but now, after Eintracht Frankfurt were held to a 2-2 draw by FC St. Pauli, BVB incredibly have Champions League qualification in their own hands.
