Champions League: Kane finishes Leverkusen off as Bayern progress
Bayern Munich are comfortably into the Champions League quarter-final after seeing off Bundesliga rivals Bayer Leverkusen who, without the injured Florian Wirtz, never looked like staging a comeback.
It was Harry Kane who started Bayer Leverkusen's week from hell last week, so it was only fitting that it was the Englishman who finished it.
Having set Bayern Munich on their way to a comprehensive 3-0 win in the Champions League last-16 first leg with his powerful back-post header last week, Kane also put to bed any faint hopes that the Werkself may have harboured of a spectacular comeback, with another goal and assist in the second half of the second leg.
