Bayern Munich 4-2 Borussia Dortmund: Thomas Tuchel's side wrestle back control of Bundesliga title

Bayern Munich have a song that they play before every home game. Like most chants that you’ll hear at German football grounds, it’s extremely cheesy when translated into English and, at first, sounds like something a child may have written. “You can call us the champions of the world,” goes the first line before the all-important call to arms before kick off: “We’re much better than the rest.” 

This is, undoubtedly, the famous Bavarian sense of self-importance that makes the rest of the country roll their eyes at the southern state, but when it comes to Bundesliga football there is at least some truth behind the seemingly outlandish claim. Bayern really are better than the rest and they emphatically proved that on a cold night in March when Borussia Dortmund came to town.
